Ten Pointless Facts About Me

One of my favourite things back in the day was filling out blog chains/tags1. Answering questions was so much fun. I tend to go on a lot of tangents, I always did. Sometimes I felt like becoming famous just so I could get interviewed a lot. I suppose real life interviewing would be a bit more annoying... but it was a nice fantasy for a bit.

I remembered those feelings as I came across a post at Chronosaur.us, which was a prompt/challenge made by Forking Mad. Thought it would be fun to give it a go! Feel free to join, too!

### Do you floss your teeth?

I don't. Looking through the posts answering those questions, seems like it's most of us. I don't like the feeling of having my teeth apart. I know they're not supposed to be too close. It does feel weird to pull them apart, though. It's like toes. I don't like them spread apart either. I know they're supposed to, but ew.

### Tea, coffee, or water?

I have a hard time keeping track of my liquid intake. I think water is the easiest to drink all day. I've saw an article on the Edge discovery page about how a lot of kids in Britain apparently aren't fan of water. Which I feel like is crazy. It probably was. I don't think you can say you don't like water because there are so many kinds of water and it all tastes different, right. What does it mean, to not like water?

To answer the question, though, I personally am fan of tea. It's warm. That feels very kind to my soul. It has to be made with love for me, though. Tea made by me for me isn't as nice. I do have a problem with keeping track of my hydration, so the love is kind of a “big deal” ingredient in my teas.

### Footwear preference?

Cute and orthopedic. I don't really like shoes. Shoe shopping makes me sad. It's hard to find cute shoes. I did find a local brand once that made normal looking shoes that were orthopedic and it was amazing. They were on a platform / small heel. I need to have higher shoes or else it hurts to walk for some reason. And the orthopedic part made the shoes so comfy. Very nice!

### Favourite dessert?

I enjoy carrot cake a lot. My grandma bakes a good one. Actually, every cake store has different kind of carrot cake. They come in many vibes and tastes. My favourite dessert to bake is coconut flour cookies. I suppose that's more of a snack than a dessert. I haven't baked a big dessert in a while. I should probably do that soon!

### The first thing you do when you wake up?

I text my significant other good morning! Lovely start of the day. If it's Sunday, I usually wake just in time to get dressed and have a language class. Other days I have time to get dressed, perhaps drink tea and take my vitamins.

### Age you'd like to stick at?

I haven't been around for long enough to have too many choices. I never wanted to grow up - so I didn't - but I wouldn't want to go back to being a teen/child. I wish I had appreciated more how much time I had. I was always stressed about not having enough time. I still am. The difference is that I truly do have less time than I had before (I think? What if, in few years, I will feel like I truly have even less time?!). I remember thinking the coolest age numbers are 28 and 34. So I could just roll on one of those.

### How many hats do you own?

I own four hard hats. I own some winter hats that are soft, but I think they could count as hats (they are fancier than caps or beanies). I have sleeping hat. I have a psyduck cap. I do only ever wear one proper hat, that I keep decorating based on my outfit every now and then. My first post here describes one such decorating!

### Describe the last photo you took?

It's a glass cup of spiced wine. Taken in the light of kitchen. You can see the steam coming from the wine. We shared it with dad, it was nice and sweet. I took the photo to share with my significant other, because they would definitely enjoy - the sweetness, at least.

Spiced wine Cup of a spiced wine.

### Worst TV show?

I can't think of anything specific right now. I don't really watch TV shows on my own. And nothing can be bad when you share it with a loved one! I have a lot of books, mangas I read that I was so mad about, I have one game I really disliked... but I can't think of a TV show. Sometimes my parents were very disappointed, but that's what I found funny.

### As a child, what was your aspiration for adulthood?

When I was asked in kindergarten what I want to be when I grow up, I'm sure I said I wanted to be a carpet. It was a reference to an audio cassette I listened to. Truck driving was a career that I thought would be fun. Maybe I'd be importing merch and getting to keep one of them. Probably not how it works, but a kid me can dream. I also considered being a cardiosurgeon, because I liked the idea of surgeries and specializing in something made it seem easier. Children's psychiatrist was something I thought was very important and what would make a difference. I would make for a bad psychiatrist, though. I'm nowhere close to either of the careers listed. Maybe the carpet.
Who did I aspire to be, though? I aspired to be a cool person. Maybe a creative one. I wanted to make websites. I wanted to make a game. Publish a book. Make art. Shoot a short movie. Take a photo series... In literature class we were taught about the authors, and so many of them were so cool. They had all kinds of jobs and experiences. That helps you write good stories, after all. I wanted to be like them. Gather experiences and create stuff. I suppose you can say that my aspiration has been set to be a Renaissance Sim.

  1. A bit weird to refer to those kinds of posts by blog chains, because of blockchains, and tags, because, well, we use tags more these days too. Is it even the proper English name? No idea.
